The Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is a new action-adventure Lego game set in the Star Wars universe. It's a sprawling Star Wars adventure featuring storylines from all the nine mainline Star Wars games.
Players can choose to play over 45 levels spanning The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith, A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, and The Rise of The Skywalker. Suffice it to say, The Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is a meaty experience, but like previous Lego games, does it feature any form of multiplayer mode? You can read our guide to find out.
Thankfully, The Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga does feature multiplayer in the form of a local co-op. Developer TT Games recently confirmed the same via its Twitter handle.
Two players can play the entirety of The Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga on split-screen, controlling iconic characters like Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, R2-D2, C-3P, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Qui-Gon Jinn, and more.
The inclusion of a local co-op is a breath of fresh in 2022 though the lack of an online co-op feels like a major misstep. While PC players can still play with their friends online via Steam Remote Play, it doesn't make up for what could have been a more seamless online experience.
However, it's likely that many fans weren't expecting The Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga to feature any kind of online multiplayer since that's been the case with all Lego games in the past.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sage has local co-op, not online.
