Lucy Hale wore a mask to take her maltipoo Elvis for a walk in LA

I am so hungry for any new photos of celebrities, I’m writing about these photos of Lucy Hale responsibly wearing a mask while she takes her doggo for a walk in LA. First of all, how cute is Lucy’s dog?? His name is Elvis and apparently (according to the internet) he’s a maltipoo, meaning a maltese-poodle? Super-cute. She’s had him for a while too, judging from her social media photos of him. Meaning, she wasn’t one of those people who adopted just for the quarantine. No judgment – I love that so many people saw that they were going to be spending months at home and they decided to all collectively go to shelters to adopt animals.

Anyway, I feel like there are mixed messages coming from officials re: mask-wearing. I understand that we are all now supposed to wear masks when we’re in the grocery store or public transportation or anywhere enclosed. But I’ve yet to see a definitive answer on whether people *must* wear masks while out in open air, going for a walk or what have you. Judging from the paparazzi photos we do have, it seems like most Californians have gotten into the habit of wearing masks at all times whenever they leave their homes. That being said, here in Virginia, no one is wearing a mask when we’re walking dogs or hiking or whatever. I’ve seen tons of mask-wearers at the grocery store, of course. But not walking outdoors.
