Paris Hilton Says She Felt Violated Every Day While At Boarding School As A Teen Heres

As part of her testimony in a Utah court, Paris Hilton detailed the abuse she suffered while at Provo Canyon School as a teen. Check out what she had to say!

The heiress has been fighting to pass a bill in the state that is meant to end abuse in all care facilities there and that is why she gave the court a testimony about her own traumatic experience at the boarding school.

She started by stating her name and went on to say that ‘I am an institutional abuse survivor and speak on behalf of the hundreds of thousands of children in residential care facilities across the United States. For the last twenty years, I have had a nightmare where I am kidnapped in the middle of the night by 2 strangers, strip searched and then locked in a facility. I wish that I could say this haunting nightmare was a dream, but it’s not. I was mentally, verbally and physically abused on a daily basis. I was cut from the outside world and stripped of all human rights.’

Paris Hilton spent nearly a year at Provo Canyon School, and she was sent there by her parents in hopes of fixing her partying tendencies.

The star has been advocating for the institution to be closed since it sounds like many others throughout the years have suffered the same abusive treatment as her.

And that was not all! Paris also claims that she would be fed meds that would make her feel numb and complacent.

Furthermore, ‘There was zero privacy—every time I’d use the bathroom or take a shower, it was monitored. At 16, as a child, I felt piercing eyes staring at my naked body. I was only a kid and I felt violated every single day.’

In the meantime, Utah has passed the bill and Paris went ahead and reacted to the news, thanking the lawmakers for supporting it.
